An Update from the Board of Directors:
Circle Theatre announces that Executive Director Tim Long will be departing the organization after 27 years of service. As we mark the close of this chapter, we want to thank Tim for his time with Circle and wish him well in his departure.
Looking ahead, we are proud to welcome Kris Jasper as its Interim Executive Director, bringing a powerful combination of business expertise, artistic experience, and a deep commitment to the performing arts and the Fort Worth community.
With more than 30 years of experience in administration, operations, and organizational leadership, Kris brings a strong foundation in business management, strategic thinking, and relationship building. Her extensive theatrical background as a director, Equity stage manager, and arts administrator provides a unique perspective that bridges the business of theatre with the heart of its artistry.
She is no stranger to Circle Theatre and her firsthand experience with the organization gives her a personal appreciation for its artistic legacy, the people who bring its productions to life, and its important place in Fort Worth's cultural community.
A collaborative, people-centered leader, Kris believes that great theatre does more than entertain. It inspires conversations, builds connections, and strengthens communities. Her leadership philosophy is grounded in integrity, service, and the belief that investing in people is essential to building a thriving organization.
As Interim Executive Director, Kris is committed to honoring Circle Theatre's legacy while strengthening its operational foundation, cultivating meaningful community partnerships, supporting artistic excellence, and positioning the organization for a vibrant and sustainable future.
With a heart for service, a mind for business, and a passion for the arts, Kris is ready to help lead Circle Theatre into its next chapter with confidence, purpose, and possibility.
This opportunity is more than a leadership role for her. It's a chance to give back to a theatre she knows, champion the artists and audiences who make it extraordinary, and ensure that the stories worth telling continue to have a stage.
"Circle Theatre has already been a part of my artistic journey and I'm honored to now be part of its leadership journey. The power of theatre in bringing people together is something | believe in wholeheartedly so I'm looking forward to working alongside artists, staff, board, patrons and all our community partners to build upon and strengthen Circle Theatre's foundation. What's ahead for us is a story still being written and I'm truly excited to help shape its next chapter."
Circle looks forward with excitement and optimism. Our Board of Directors, staff, and artists remain deeply committed to Circle's mission, to producing exceptional theatre, and to supporting the artists and audiences who make our work possible. We look forward to sharing more about what lies ahead in the coming weeks.
To our artists, patrons, donors, volunteers, and friends: thank you for continuing to be part of the Circle Theatre family. We invite you to join us in welcoming Kris and look forward with us to an exciting future for Circle Theatre.
