One thing that can make a BIG difference in your getting-ready photos? The room you’re getting ready in!

If you have the option, look for a space with plenty of natural window light, lighter walls, and enough room for everyone to move around comfortably.

And don’t stress about making it look like a perfectly styled room. Just clearing bags, food containers, and random clutter out of the background can make a huge difference.

A beautiful room is a bonus, but the real magic is in what’s happening inside it.

Okay, I LOVE this idea for a wedding day.

Adi & Matt got married at the courthouse, but because of work conflicts, they didn’t have enough time on their wedding day for the portraits they had been dreaming about.
So what did they do?
They spent the ENTIRE MORNING with me on their first full day of being married.
Which honestly might be one of my favorite ways to celebrate being newlyweds.

We started at the Tarrant County Courthouse because they still wanted that classic courthouse wedding feel, then we headed over to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden for something a little more playful, natural, and relaxed.

No rushing from one wedding event to the next. No trying to squeeze everything into 30 minutes. Just the two of them, wandering around Fort Worth, being married, and taking photos together.

I absolutely adored spending this much time with these two. They were so sweet and so much fun, and I am VERY honored I got to document their first full day as husband and wife 💕
