Essentially, we have altered the format of our living space in hopes that a large viewing space will promote a communal engagement and proximity to art that can only be achieved via representation in a residence. We are reaffirmed, via historical analysis of the Tin Pan Alley days of Harlem, that house's are not only necessary in the expansion of culture, music and art, but they are a vital neces
sity to promoting well-being that can't be rivaled by any other medium. We consider Our house as a phenomena that is unique of our environment and carry's persistence of human spirit in its very existence. We are/have/uphold:
-A policy of No Cover charge/Free admission
- BYOB Etiquette . Admission with alcohol needs to be verified by proof that you are 21 years of age. People are responsible for their own alcohol and are required to guard its status.
- Artists play for free. *Tipping is not just suggested but EXPECTED (if you dont tip your [A] literally as poor as the artists themselves [which is rare if your not an artist], or [B] A sh*tty selfish person who dislikes music and therefore Texas). All tips given to the artist will go directly to the artist.
- Free Artistic engagement with the INSIDE of the house. No art outside the house, ESPECIALLY IN THE FRONT.
- A policy of No stealing, use of illegal substances, No violence or items that could damper an individuals safety (no knifes or guns) of any sort. I hope that we can create something thats not just beautiful or ugly but something that is reflexive of our culture and articulates our unique style. Joie De Vivre
