I successfully completed my first year of teaching. By his grace, I made it. All glory to God. 🙌🏿

Congratulations to all the educators who completed their first year and to those who made it another year.

I had the honor of being featured in the 2025 Spring edition of eleven40seven TCU journal of the arts.

As an alumni of Texas Christian University , I am truly grateful to be selected, and even more blessed to be apart of the 20th anniversary edition!

My piece is titled “Brainstorm” (page 44). This piece is special because it was the album cover of Revib3d’s sophomore album. Revib3d was a neosoul group I was apart of during undergrad, you can still find our music on all streaming platforms.

I had the honor of painting a mural in Stop Six alongside the great artist, .e.l.s.h.a .a.r.t . Our goal was to create a mural that embraces the beauty of diversity, visually expressed the promise and access to new beginnings, and celebrated the significance of Stop Six.

We painted this mural at New Heights High School. A school that helps adults ages 18-50 earn a full high school diploma and career certificates, and college credits.

My dad has put me on to a lot of great music but one band that stands out amongst the rest is Maze ft. Frankie Beverly. In the early 2000’s when my brothers and God brothers played p*e wee football, my dad would play “We are One” consistently after every practice. Since then its been my favorite song. This piece looks even better in person👀! Come see “Moving Forward” and more of my work this Tuesday (my birthday) at the opening reception of my upcoming show, “Out of the Water“. The opening reception is June 11th at 6:30pm.

The show runs from June 11th to June 30th at .The Address is 2242 Monitor St. , Dallas TX 75207. For the opening reception all guests are asked to wear a shade green. 🙏🏿

Join me on my birthday, June 11th, from 6:30 pm - 8 pm, for the open reception of my solo exhibition, “Out of the Water.” The exhibition will run June 6th - June 30th at the Gold BLK Candle Lounge located at 2242 Monitor St, Dallas, Texas 75207.

If you are able to attend the opening reception, I ask that all attendees wear different shades of green.

“Out of the Water” is a show that visually conveys the challenges and joys of transitioning from one season of life to another. To remain liberated from the chains of a dark past, you must let go of what you once knew and embrace the new.
