Happy Juneteenth and Happy 46th Anniversary to Jubilee Theatre!
Today, as we celebrate freedom, resilience, and the enduring power of Black storytelling, we also celebrate 46 incredible years of Jubilee Theatre serving our community through the arts.
On this special day, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Board of Directors, our donors, volunteers, artists, patrons, and community stakeholders. Your belief in our mission has sustained this institution and ensured that Black stories continue to be told, honored, and celebrated on our stage.
I am especially thankful to Jubilee Theatre for entrusting me with the privilege of serving as its leader for the past eight seasons. It has been one of the greatest honors of my professional life. Together, we have faced challenges, celebrated successes, and continued the legacy of a theatre that remains vital to Fort Worth and beyond.
As we reflect on our past and look toward our future, I invite you to join us for our Juneteenth Community Concert on June 21 at I.M. Terrell Academy. This special event will bring together artists, supporters, and community members in celebration of our shared history and bright future.
