Blessings on this sacred day, Friday the 13th.

"Some people fear Friday the 13th, yet in many indigenous cultures such as the Maya and Mexihca, 13 is considered holy and representative of accomplishment, mystery, higher consciousness, ancestral memory, and wisdom. It has profound associations with the feminine in cultures with a lunar calendar. In the Mesoamerican healing system, there are 13 lunar cycles and 13 major joints in the human body, 13 heavens that are associated with 13 levels of consciousness, and men and women are considered to have reached elderhood at age 52, the completion of a cycle of four rounds of 13 years each.

If one looks closely at the shell of Turtle, one can see that it is divided into thirteen large central plates, which represent the thirteen moons of the lunar year — if you count the smaller segments around the lower edge of the shell, you will find there are 28, which represents the 28 days between new moons hence the profound connection of women with Grandmother Moon."

Fear not 🙏🏽🌀🕊️❤️‍🔥

If I could go back in time, I’d put a plus sign by my discontent. I'd hope to recognize that it signals my own growth potential instead of something being “wrong” with me or needing to be different in the other.

If I could go back in time, I’d realize that this is where I learn true love, not loving others but myself, my deepest and truest self. Turning my attention inward wasn't selfish; it is the only way to deepen my connection with others.

If I could go back in time, I’d shift my attention and focus away from focusing on what could go wrong on what I feared losing or messing up. Instead, I’d learn to sit and listen to my own resonance to distinguish the granularity of my own being and develop my personal presence, and know deep in my bones how much more significant the things are that I can’t see with my physical eyes but can only sense with my whole heart.

If I could go back in time, I’d notice what brings me joy because moving towards my true north & knowing I had a personal compass of bliss was my first step on the journey from my head to my heart.

If I could go back in time, I’d recognize that my authentic expression must be nurtured and is only expressed in the field of love. Planting seeds in good soil is where I would begin again.

And finally, if I could turn back time and do it all over again, I’d gather with others from the beginning rather than suffer in silence for years. There is such a profound mystery in the emergence, and Within (U)niversity has been a portal for me to witness this kind of pure magic season after season for the last 7 years.
