Join us for a FREE & VIRTUAL "Fort Worth Lynching Tour: Honoring the Memory of Mr. Fred Rouse"!

The FWLT virtual tour will take participants to four sites associated with the 1921 lynching of Mr. Fred Rouse in Fort Worth, TX. We will use the FWLT downloadable, augmented reality app to better understand and process the story of the murder of Mr. Rouse at the hands of a White mob. The tour will be co-led by Adam McKinney and Daniel Banks , and will be accompanied a Black mental health professional, Junene K.

The goal of the tour is to generate community healing through memorial activism. FWLT invites participants to ask the questions, “What, how, why, and whom do we remember?”

This event is FREE and requires pre-registration via Zoom.

The tour is back! Weekends from March 27-May 2. Saturdays are bike tours (free e-bike rentals donated by Fort Worth Bike Sharing) and Sunday will be car tours. The tour is socially distant and masks are required.
