PianoTexas is proud to announce the winners of the Teachers & Amateurs Division of the PianoTexas International Concerto Competition: Gorden Cheng, Sungsoo Cho, Shiori Kiriake, Sing Lee, Haochen Li, Michael Slavin, Justin Urcis, and Hanqiu Xu.
These pianists come from different walks of life, but they share a common passion for piano music.

A huge thank you to our distinguished members in the jury - Enrico Elisi, Jason Kwak, and Steven Spooner.

Come be inspired as they perform with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra under conductor Peter Bay this Sunday, June 21 at 5:00 pm at Van Cliburn Concert Hall at TCU.

PianoTexas is still buzzing after Saturday's phenomenal Vitaly Starikov Solo Piano Recital at Van Cliburn Concert Hall, the first concert of this summer's Distinguished Artists Concert Series.
Starikov , Silver Medalist of the 2025 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, brought the house with a program spanning Bach's Italian Concerto, Shostakovich's Piano Sonata No. 2, and Debussy's Etudes. The Dallas Morning News's Scott Cantrell gave the performance a glowing review, calling it a compelling recital by a Cliburn Silver Medalist.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for an unforgettable evening of music. We can't wait to welcome our next Distinguished Artist to the stage!
