Ballet Concerto is a non-profit performing arts organization dedicated to providing artistic education and entertainment to residents of Fort Worth and its surrounding areas and visitors to the Metroplex. These activities include free education outreach programs in the Fort Worth Independent School District since 1969 and an annual Holiday Special. The annual June Summer Dance Concert has been sta

ged since 1983, featuring resident company and guest professionals, international choreographers and free lawn seating for patrons, as well as table seating for purchase. Ballet Concerto was founded by Margo Dean, who manages the organization as the Artistic Director. Ballet Concerto is grateful for the support and generosity of photographer Perry Langenstein and thank him for his generosity as we share his images here. Why should you give to Ballet Concerto? Because for over five decades we have provided outreach programs like Lecture Demonstrations, which gives elementary students an introduction to different forms of dance and what it's like to be a dancer. Ballet Concerto, under the artistic direction of Webster Dean and Margo Dean, will hold auditions for its annual A Holiday Special performances on Saturday, September 20 at Margo Dean School of Ballet, 3803 Camp Bowie Blvd in Fort Worth. Audition for dancers ages 13 through professional will be from 11:45 – 1:15 and for dancers age 9-12 from 1:30 – 2:40. The featured ballet will be The Christmas Grump based on the story of the Grinch. Other holiday ballets to be presented will include Hannukah Flamenco, Winterwonderland, and O Holy Night. Performances will be presented on December 5 at 10:30 am and 7:00 pm at Will Rogers Auditorium.
