ABOUT ZAN SAVAGE
Life is a Great Big Canvas, throw all the Paint you can on it! ~~Danny Kaye~~
I paint to further understand the wonders in the world around me and share what I discover with others. As you can see, I have a wide variety of subjects from the playful to the more serious and utilize many techniques to satisfy my thirst to explore. Being more in tune with an impressionistic approach than worrying over minute detail, I am often drawn to capture the essence of my subjects with quick bold strokes and many layers of fractured color. Consequently, my media of choice is often selected with regards to whatever process I feel will provide the best means to capture the essential nature of whatever I may be working on at the time. Aside from my art offerings I also offer painting classes! My goal there is to nurture and grow the artist that I know resides within you. It would bring me great pleasure to be a part of your artistic journey. Exploration and meditation... What a wonderful contemplation a painting can be for both thee and me! Thank you for visiting!
