This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Cowtown Coliseum stands with the survivors, fighters, families, and loved ones whose lives have been affected by breast cancer.

The rodeo community is built on strength, resilience, courage, and looking out for one another — values that extend far beyond the arena.

This month, we wear pink in honor of those who have fought, those who continue to fight, and those we carry in our hearts.

Together, we can raise awareness, show support, and keep the conversation going.

The Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo is bringing the action back to Cowtown Coliseum on October 17 at 1:30PM and 7:30PM!

Named in honor of legendary cowboy and rodeo pioneer Bill Pickett, the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo celebrates the rich history, culture, and contributions of Black cowboys and cowgirls while showcasing some of the most exciting events in rodeo.

From the adrenaline of bull riding and bronc riding to the precision of barrel racing and roping, the BPIR brings together talented athletes, authentic Western tradition, and a celebration of the Black cowboy experience — all inside the historic Cowtown Coliseum.

This October, the rodeo also carries an important message beyond the arena. Throughout the event, we’ll be honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month, shining a light on strength, resilience, and the importance of supporting one another.

Come experience the action, celebrate the legacy, and be part of a night that represents so much more than rodeo.
