Today we lost a true legend in the paintball world.
Greg wasn’t just part of the industry — he was paintball. The passion he had for the game is something you don’t come across often. He cared deeply about the sport, the players, and making sure everything he touched was done right.
Even behind the scenes, Greg made a huge impact. Many of you may not have known him personally, but you’ve experienced his work. He always made sure the paint we put on our fields was top notch — because that’s just who he was.
We’ve never met anyone who loved paintball more.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and everyone in the paintball community who felt his influence.
Rest easy, Greg.
You’ll always be part of the game.
The paintball community has lost one of its own and one of the most influential figures in the Texas market.
Greg Pauley was more than a player. He was a coach, a mentor, and a true builder of the game but just as importantly, he was a driving force behind the growth of paintball at the dealer, field, and event level.
Greg worked closely with shops and fields across Texas and the surrounding states, always pushing them to be better, stronger, and more successful. He treated the people behind those businesses like family, and his impact can still be seen in the communities and operations he helped shape.
While many knew him for shaping teams like Vicious, Diesel, and AC Dallas and for developing players from the divisional level to the national stage his influence extended far beyond the field.
His legacy lives on through the players, partners, businesses, and communities he helped build.
GP didn’t just play the game he helped grow it.
We extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and everyone affected by his passing.
