After an incredibly busy month, I'd like to take the time and congratulate all my students for their continuous hard work and dedication. Earlier this month we competed at the Heritage Classic in Charlotte, North Carolina. Congratulations to Pam Lenamon for her first open smooth competition, where she took 🥉in her scholarship and 🥈in her championship round. Jimmie Sue Hoekenga for taking 3 🥉 and a 🥈 medal in her latin and standard finals, and to Rebecca Smart for winning the open gold championship and scholarship in rhythm and smooth as well as winning the Best of the best in gold category!
To finish off the month we had Texas Lonestar Ball in Dallas this weekend. It was an incredible experience dancing in front of all our friends that came to support us, I couldn't be prouder of our team! Thank you Jimmie Sue Hoekenga, Pam Lenamon, and my amazing wife Sarah Temesvari for being there and cheering us on! Shout out to my students for the results achieved! To Cynthia Stuart for taking 3 🥈 and a 🥉medal in smooth and rhythm, to Pam McPartland for placing 2nd and 3rd in her open standard championships and finally to Rebecca Smart for taking 🥇in open gold smooth scholarship! Next stop, Emerald ball!
