Happy Birthday, Joe Perez! 🎷

It’s hard to put into words just how special a musician and person you are. Joe is truly one of the most gifted saxophonists in all of Texas, and I’ve been fortunate to witness that talent up close. I’ll always cherish the memories of sharing the stage together back when he was still in college and performing with The Latin Express—those were moments filled with passion, growth, and incredible music.

Since graduating from the University of North Texas, Joe has continued to inspire others, now shaping the next generation of musicians here in the DFW area. Your dedication, artistry, and heart leave a lasting impact on everyone around you.

Next Saturday, April 18th, The Latin Express will be bringing the heat to the 5th Annual River Oaks Spring Fest Car Show at Burgers Lake in Fort Worth!

Join us at 1200 Meandering Rd. for an exciting celebration featuring an impressive showcase of cars and motorcycles, delicious eats from a variety of food trucks, and plenty of local vendors offering great finds.

The festivities kick off at 10 AM and run through 4 PM, so there’s plenty of time to explore, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere. Don’t miss The Latin Express live from 12 PM to 3 PM, delivering high-energy Latin rhythms that will keep you dancing all afternoon!

Best of all—it’s a FREE spectator event, so bring your lawn chairs, gather your friends and family, and come enjoy a fun-filled day by the lake.
