We also provide meeting, rehearsal, and event space for gatherings large and small. Arts Fifth Avenue was incorporated and received its 501c3 designation in 1992. AFA’s mission is to stimulate, develop and preserve interest in tap dance and other complementary art forms and to educate the general public, particularly youth, about this uniquely American dance form; and to provide a forum of expression for dancers, choreographers, musicians, composers, and visual and performing artists. Under the umbrella of ARTS FIFTH AVENUE is LaFeet Tap Ensemble, a youth and adult tap ensemble who share their love and performance of Tap, the American Dance form with the community; and the 5th Avenue Hi-Notes, a vocal chorus who sing for the sheer joy of singing and will sing for any occasion.
