Juneteenth marks the day when the last enslaved people in the United States were freed—a powerful reminder of the strength, struggle, and spirit of Black communities, as well as the ongoing fight for freedom and equality.

As theatre artists and storytellers, we honor the voices, histories, and experiences that have shaped our past and continue to inspire our future. Today, we celebrate Black resilience, Black joy, and Black excellence.
