At Races2U.com we love electric cars, but not this monstrosity. It almost makes the Cybertruck look good... almost. The fact that it's a Ferrari, home of the 308, Testarossa, and Enzo just makes this so much worse. This whole recent generation of Ferraris in my opinion haven't been up to the level of previous models, but this is a catastrophe. Races2U founder is a US Navy veteran, having served from the 1980's to the 2000's. He spent much of that time deployed overseas, supporting the NATO mission during the collapse of the former Yugoslavia and the disastrous humanitarian mission in Somalia. He was serving at the Navy Yards in Washington DC on September 11, 2001 when terrorists flew an airplane into the Navy wing of the Pentagon, killing friends and colleagues along with thousands of others in New York and Pennsylvania. Although this is one of the biggest weekends in racing, and we did lose one of the greatest drivers in NASCAR, please remember that Memorial Day is about remembering our soldiers, sailors, and airmen that sacrificed their lives so that others could live.

Dramatic Indianapolis 500 finish was the closest ever© Marc Lebryk-Imagn ImagesThe Indianapolis 500 delivered on Sunday and ended with the closest finish in the history of the race.Swedish driver Felix Rosenqvist won Sunday’s race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indianapolis, In. in frantic fashion. The race wound up being a one-lap shootout, and American David Malukas had opened up a lead of about 0.3 seconds during the final lap and appeared to be in good shape.That wound up not being the case. Rosenqvist managed to outmaneuver Malukas’ attempts to defend and crossed the line first in a photo finish. According to the unofficial results, Rosenqvist won the race by .018 seconds before being officially listed at .0233. Either way, the margin was the closest in race history, beating out Al Unser Jr.’s .043 second margin in 1992. Rosenqvist finished sixth in IndyCar last season, but had not actually won a race since 2020.

A sad day for NASCAR fansCONCORD, N.C. (AP) — Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup Series champion who won more races than anyone across NASCAR’s three national series, has died. He was 41.The Busch Family, Richard Childress Racing and NASCAR issued a joint statement Thursday saying Busch died after being hospitalized. No cause of death was given.Busch’s family said earlier Thursday that he was hospitalized with a “severe illness,” three days before he was to compete in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.Busch was the younger brother of Kurt Busch, a NASCAR Hall of Famer.“Our entire NASCAR family is heartbroken by the loss of Kyle Busch,” the statement said. “A future Hall of Famer, Kyle was a rare talent, one who comes along once in a generation.

The UMA Motorcoach Expo was held at the Henry Gonzales Center in San Antonio Jan 6-10. Races2U was hired by ABC Companies- the exclusive distributor for VanHool coaches in the US, as part of their booth entertainment. Since the show had a strong focus on touring coaches and companies, we set up a track featuring well-known US landmarks someone might see when traveling the US via coach. Of course, with the show taking place in San Antonio, The Alamo was featured prominently on the track. The cars and track were decorated with the logos of ABC, VanHool, and other sponsors of the booth, and we had many racers come by and test their skills. It was a lot of fun working with the great folks from ABC, and a lot of people got to not only race, but learn about all the new technology on these luxury motor coaches.
