I had the cutest wedding dates today.

We have had so much fun so far on our trip. We plan to spend the weekend in Fort Worth then back to Odessa for the next month for work.

Those smiles. We would do just about anything for those smiles.

Having Brendan gone for his last few work trips has been hard on me and the kids so we decided to go with him this time.

We had so much fun with dad!

We were able to spend time together that wasn’t working on house projects which hasn’t happened much in the past year.

Spent the last week in one of our favorite places.

It always leaves me in awe to be in nature and enjoy all its beauty!

From riding to swimming to just relaxing, we had the best week.

Even though we have mounds upon mounds of work to do on the house, we felt it was important to make memories with our kids and family.

We moved into our house right before our trip. And even though it feels like camping 😂😂 it feels good to have our own space!

Hopefully this week we can make it more livable and comfortable!

Still so much left to do but I can’t believe how beautiful these floors turned out. They are exactly what I imagined 😍 when I wanted a hardwood floor.

I can’t wait to finish all the rest we have in store for this living room!

If you didn’t see my stories yesterday, the carpet is in and I love it! Out with the old orange s**g carpet and in with the nice new plush carpet.

Remodeling is so much fun but a lot of work. It’s little things like new carpet that just make me happy!

I couldn’t let the day go by without publicly wishing Brendan happy birthday and happy National best friend day!

He has been in Texas working since Friday and I don’t think a waking hour has gone by that Sofia doesn’t ask “Where daddy go?” She misses her daddy cuddles.

But we are beyond lucky to have him in our lives. He is the best husband, father, and friend!

He works so hard for us to make our dreams come true and we are so grateful for all he does!

We miss you Bren and can’t wait for you to get home on Sunday. ❤️

There is still A LOT of work to do on the outside of this house but the new door gave it the facelift it needed for the time being.
