Did you know Weatherford, my hometown, is renowned as the “Cutting Horse Capital of the World.” It’s a hub for elite Quarter Horse breeding, training, and competition culture. I discovered this when I moved my studio there.

I’m launching a new series featuring inspiring imagery from the Fort Worth stockyards, real Cowboys and Bull Riders, American Quarter Horses, and the western vibe. It’s been a while since I painted original works, mostly iconic figures or landscapes. I’m now exploring native inspirations in my hometown while maintaining a colorful and loose style.

2. The famous Indian horse statue in Oklahoma City is The End of the Trail, located inside the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. (Far left)

3. Bricktown is an entertainment district just east of downtown. (middle section)

4. Of course the official state animal The Buffalo (American Bison)
