🍺 A Look Back at the GermanFest 2026 Keg Tapping 🍺

GermanFest 2026 officially got underway with one of our favorite traditions, the keg tapping! Thank you to everyone who joined us in June on stage and gathered around to raise a glass and celebrate the start of another GermanFest. 🍻🇩🇪

And while we celebrated an old tradition, we may have started a new one!

The Fort Wayne Tänzers led everyone onto the dance floor for a Grand March, weaving through the crowd before splitting into lines and coming back together in ever-growing rows.

Here’s to keeping old traditions alive, creating new ones together, and all the memories made at GermanFest 2026.

Prost! 🍻

There is nothing quite like watching the take the floor. 💃🕺

From the first note to the last, our dancers bring the heart of German tradition to life every single year. And to everyone who joined them on the dance floor. Thank you for keeping the spirit going.

Already counting down to 2027.

Every year, they waddle onto that track and steal the whole show. 🌭

The Wienerdog Nationals is one of our favorite GermanFest traditions — pure joy, pure chaos, and a whole lot of very determined dogs. Thank you to everyone who brought their pups out to compete and to everyone who cheered them on.

See you on the track in 2027. 🐾

To our incredible volunteers — thank you. GermanFest 2026 would not have happened without your countless hours, your generous hearts, and your dedication to keeping this tradition alive for our community.

We are so grateful for each and every one of you. 🥨🍺

🇩🇪 Alles Gute zum Vatertag! 🍻

Today we celebrate all the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who share their wisdom, support, traditions, and love with the next generation.

Whether you're spending the day with family, enjoying a favorite meal, or raising a stein with friends, we wish you a wonderful Father's Day filled with laughter, good company, and lasting memories.

❤️ Danke, GermanFest Family! ❤️

To everyone who joined us at GermanFest and FamilienFest this year—thank you!

Whether you came for the food, music, dancing, Wiener Dog Nationals, shopping, culture, competitions, family activities, or simply to spend time with friends and family, we are grateful you chose to celebrate with us.

For four wonderful days, Headwaters Park was filled with laughter, traditions, new memories, old friends, and the spirit of Gemütlichkeit that makes GermanFest so special.

Thank you to our attendees, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, entertainers, clubs, community partners, and everyone who helped make this year's festival a success.

From all of us at GermanFest: Danke schön! We hope you had as much fun as we did.
