What a weekend! It was a bit of a whirlwind, with Out of the Box performances and a surprise party for our retiring Executive Director! She's a hard one to surprise, but we got her this time! Friends and supporters of Stacey and afO came Saturday afternoon to celebrate her 19 years of dedicated service, 9 as the Administrative Assistant and 10 as Executive Director. Sharon Henderson, afO's previous (and founding) ED was there, as well as Josiah Rice who will be stepping into the role as of July 1. We're so thankful for God's faithfulness for the last 34 years and especially during this time of transition. We look forward with anticipation to what He has in store for us!

Congratulations to our four apprentices on completing their final assignment of the year with the production of Out of the Box! Alli and Josiah completed their first year, and Sarita and Stacey have completed their second (and final) year of the program. They got to work with fabulous actors, who did an incredible job of bringing the directors' visions to life, and gain valuable practical experience directing a show. Well done!

This year's Out of the Box showcases the work of our Directorial Apprentices as they bring their creative vision to the stage after a year of learning and mentorship. Now that you've met all four of them, we hope you join us for this evening of thought-provoking short plays, music, and fellowship.
