The countdown is ON!

Next Friday, The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church opens, and we cannot wait to welcome you into the church basement.

Come meet a delightfully mismatched group of women, share a few laughs, and discover what happens when a little generosity, a lot of personality, and some unexpected circumstances collide.

Whether you saw this show with us in 2021 or you’re experiencing the Sisterhood for the very first time, this is one show you don’t want to miss.

September 11–13 & 18–20

Eliyah Kemp is thrilled to be making her Main Stage debut playing Lorraine Jensen in the Charitable Sisterhood! She previously performed with afO in Out of the Box (2026) and as the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet with PFW (2018). Eliyah feels incredibly blessed to be joining such a wonderful group of ladies and to have the opportunity to help bring The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church to the stage.
When she’s not rehearsing, Eliyah enjoys tabletop gaming (especially TTRPGs), crafting, reading, and the ongoing quest to try as many different root beers as possible.

Not every donation is exactly what someone needs.

But that doesn’t mean the generosity behind it doesn’t count.

Sometimes loving people looks like giving what you have, doing what you can, or showing up when there’s a need, even if your contribution isn’t quite what anyone expected.

And sometimes, the people who need our compassion, generosity, patience, and grace aren’t strangers at all. They’re sitting right beside us.

The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church is a comedy about helping people and loving people...and discovering that those two things can be a little more complicated than we think.

Come laugh with the Sisterhood and maybe leave thinking a little differently about what it means to help.

Want to help our Charity Spotlight? Here’s what to bring!
During performances of The Charitable Sisterhood, we’ll be collecting a few basic necessities for the women served by Josephine’s Place:
🧴 Women’s body wash
🧴 Body or hand lotion
🧴 Shaving gel
Just bring your donation with you to the show and place it in the collection bin in the lobby.
We’ll gather everything our audiences donate and deliver it to Josephine’s Place the week after the show closes.
One extra item on your shopping list can be a simple, practical way to care for a woman starting again.

What does it look like to care for our neighbors in practical ways?

That question is at the heart of The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church, and it’s also behind this season’s Charity Spotlight.

We’re pleased to partner with Josephine’s Place: A Safe Place to Start Again, which provides emergency shelter and transitional housing for single women experiencing homelessness in Allen County.

During the run of The Charitable Sisterhood, we’ll be collecting women's body wash, body/hand lotion, and shaving gel for the women they serve. Stay tuned for more about Josephine’s Place and how you can help!

Why are we bringing back The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church?

We first performed this show in 2021—just as the world was beginning to reopen after a season that changed all of us. Five years later, we’re returning to this funny, heartfelt story for a whole new audience.

Director Lauren Nichols shares the story behind our decision to revisit this special production, what makes it meaningful to us, and why she believes The Charitable Sisterhood still has something to say.

Read Lauren’s blog to discover why we’re bringing this one back. ❤️

The roads are flooded. The bridges are washed out. The rain keeps coming.
But the ladies of Second Trinity Victory Church have work to do.
There's a mountain of donations to sort and people far away who need it. So they show up.
What happens next is very, very funny, but underneath the comedy is a story about something we recognize: the church responding when people are in need.
Come spend an evening in the church basement with The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church.
