I specialize in watercolor illustration with a special knack for painting whimsical cats. Yes, I will take on that commission to paint your dog, cat, or grandma! Art instruction for ages 2 - 122 starting at $50/hour. Check out more on my pricing and see my resume on my website at www.rebeccastockert.com

Artist statement:
My artwork is an exploration of growing up female in a rural working class c

ulture. I owe my drive and dexterity with materials to my experiences in this setting. I also use my work to express a desire for an alternative domestic space as a mother and artist. My work is bright and fun, but with subtle hints of something somber. It has an air of domesticity and nostalgia.

I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with a tween boy, two cats, a chiweenie, a betta fish named Apollo, and possibly others too small to notice.

Hey y'all-I'm thinking about doing Patreon next year for a 12-month 12-illustration project, expanding upon my cats in art history series. Has anyone done Patreon? What is your experience? If you supported me, what kind of benefits would you like to have?
