The program, known as Grow Allen, started in 2023. Its mission is to help prepare students for college or for the workforce. Greater Fort Wayne Inc. said it hopes the change will let it offer more opportunities for students, like internships.

Our Q2 Regional Opportunities Council Meeting was held at Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne, Inc.

We enjoyed an update on year-to-date progress, led table discussions, and heard from a panel of site selectors that joined us on our recent FAM Tour!

We had the privilege of receiving insight from our panelists Rita Williams, Kristal Paschal, and Marissa Huber about their roles in the site selection process.

The new 50,000-square-foot building is part of a nearly $70 million makeover to Ivy Tech Fort Wayne.

Other improvements include renovations to the Student Life Center and the demolition of Harshman and Carroll halls, which date to the 1960s.

Ivy Tech Fort Wayne broke ground on a new nursing and health sciences building.
