First, thank you all for supporting the showcase for the past 6 years! Much appreciation goes to all the songwriters who have performed, all those who’ve attended the shows, and to those venues who’ve hosted it. Thanks most recently to Kekionga Craft Company for being our location for the past 6 months! For the time being, we are going to be taking a break from having a monthly show. The current environment, with so many getting sick and such has made it difficult to reliably book artists without last minute changes. We will be definitely be bringing the songwriting showcase back in some form, hopefully later this year, either live or in some type of “tiny desk” fashion. Either way, I’ll do my best to continue to help serve our local songwriting community.
