The Twistful Meadow went into hibernation for a while. Now it is rubbing its eyes and awakening to find itself a bit of a mess. Trees destroyed in The Great Munching are sprouting from their mangled bases; they need pruning so the strongest root sprouts can grow to be a big trees again, nourished by surviving mature roots. The thistle are surprisingly low in population, considering they left unsupervised for over a year. But they may be lurking below, mustering their forces, plotting. We must be ready to stomp them without mercy.
I am seeking permission to resume working the field into the Twistful Meadow.
The medium-term plan may be this: To nurture and grow actors at TekVenture's new location, while the meadow is re-growing its tree line, wildflowers and ground cover for about three years. By that time, the tree line may be restored and thistle conquered. During that time, the Humantz will polish their theater skills so they can interact with the Habitinx of the Meadow. During the overlap year before opening, the Humantz will sew costumes, make giant puppets and other creations at the New Tek location, while creating paths, bridges, game spaces and leprechaun, ogre, fairy and troll villages at the Meadow.
Do NOT visit the Twistful Meadow without Jeannette accompanying you or you will be trespassing, and the security humans there are more grumpy and stupid than a worm-infested troll. You are welcome to visit TekVenture Makerspace's new location at 1830 Wayne Trace, Door 8, Fort Wayne, Indiana, to join in theatrical activities, including performances and day camps, that will include building the cool stuff for the Meadow.
Contact Jeannette Jaquish [email protected] or 260 750-9013 to join the fun.
