My fingers have thawed out, so now I’m able to post this latest carving. I carved this Santa on Saturday during the big snow at the Moerlein Christkindlmarkt. I’m in the process of painting it and finishing it out. This will be ready for its new home. PM me or it will be at the Cincinnati Christkindlmarkt this weekend if interested in purchasing this piece.

Happy Krampusnacht!

In celebration of the German American Citizens League Meeting this past Sunday at the Cincinnati Christkindlmarkt, this carving was created. It is one log with
St. Nick on one side and Krampus on the other. It is on display near my carving area/Moerlein Lager House at The Cincinnati Christkindlmarkt. St. Nick Day is this Saturday, December 6. Last year these wooden shoes were carved. It’s German tradition to sit the shoes out the night of December 5.
