🪵Camp Day 4: There’s no wi-fi in the woods but a WAY better connection!

🚒Special thank you to our Fort Thomas Fire Department who taught our campers about fire safety today and showed off their new wheels. Lt. Sam Behrle even climbed the 170 foot ladder for us to see how high it truly was! Thank you Lt. Behrle and FF/P Craig Emerson!

🧇Our special chefs of the day made homemade waffles and butter! 🧈

🏒Camp Day 3: Drafting dreams one play at a time!

🐾Special thank you to Fort Thomas Police Officer, TJ French and his K-9 partner, Bulleit. The kids loved watching this highly decorated duo while learning about tracking! Bulleit proudly worked so hard for us!

🥚STEM activity was an egg drop and the results were shocking!

⚾️Last but not least, THANK YOU to the Florence Y'alls who came to play baseball with our campers!

🛝Have you heard the news? Beginning Thursday, Highland Hills Park is getting an upgrade!

🛞The Highland Hills Playground at Shelter 2, on Mayfield Avenue will begin construction this week! We are so grateful to the Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet through the Kentucky Waste Tire Program for funding the new rubber surface! Thank you!

🩵We are also very excited to announce Inclusive elements will include an Alta Glide Inclusive Glider with ADA-accessible ramping, an Inclusive Whirl, and sensory play features.

The City of Fort Thomas has been awarded funding through the Kentucky Waste Tire Crumb Rubber/Tire Derived Products Grant Program to support the development of a new inclusive playground at Highland Hills Park.
