We have a lot of new followers, so I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. Hey there, I’m Britt! I’m the one behind Evergreen Designs.

We’ve been at this for 10 years now, which honestly feels a little crazy to say! While Evergreen looks nothing like it did when I first started, one thing has always stayed the same: my goal is to build a brand that people love, connect with, and want to keep coming back to.
•
Behind the orders, the emails, the late nights, the designs, the packing and shipping, and all the million little things that go into running a small business is just me. I’m a wife, a mom to three beautiful kids and someone who genuinely loves creating things. But I could not do it all without my helpers. My husband who is always up to help with whatever task I throw his way. My mom and oldest daughter who have been helping me press shirts and pack orders. My littlest kiddos who help load boxes and put away inventory. My sister who is helping me with all things admin related and getting me organized! Special shout out to my dad who tells every random person he meets about Evergreen and then u get emails that say something like “I got referred to you by your dad who I met at the dog park” 😂. Proud dads are the best aren’t they?! They are the appreciated more than I could ever express.

My favorite things non business things are: a good cup of coffee, a 3pm Celsius, sneaking away for a pedicure and quality time spent with friends and family. My favorite business things: Special custom orders that live in your homes, seeing my spirit wear out in the wild (gets me every single time), creating new things, diy workshops where I get to spend more quality time with you all.

This season of Evergreen feels really special. We’re growing, trying new things, meeting new people, and being welcomed into more of this amazing community, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead. If you’re waiting on an order please know we’re working tirelessly to get them out to you and we appreciate your patience!

We’ve had quite a few people reach out asking if we’ll be making Dolly shirts.

We’ve gone back and forth on this one. As a small business, we’re always grateful when people want to support us, but this one just didn’t feel right.

It feels strange to us to profit from the loss of someone like Dolly. She was so much more than a name, a face, or something that could be put on a T-shirt. She was a light. An inspiration. Someone who spent her life reminding people to be kind, to love others, and to give grace.

So we’ve decided that remembering Dolly will not be another T-shirt.

Instead, we’d love for all of us to honor her in a way that actually reflects who she was.

Spread kindness.
Give grace.
Help someone who needs it.
Make someone laugh.
Love people a little louder.
Be silly.
Be the light for someone else.
Don’t be afraid to embrace who you are.

That feels like a much more meaningful way to remember Dolly. Let’s keep Dolly’s light going 💗
