We write to you today with a heavy heart, as we have recently received a report of harassment that occurred during our convention. We want to express our deepest apologies to the individual who experienced this distressing incident, and we condemn any form of harassment in the strongest possible terms. It is our utmost priority to create a safe and inclusive environment for everyone who attends FSCC.

In light of this incident, we recognize the need to improve our reporting mechanisms to ensure swift and effective action against any misconduct. We urge all attendees to come forward and report any incidents of harassment or inappropriate behavior that they witness or experience during the convention. Your voice matters, and we are committed to listening, addressing concerns, and taking appropriate steps to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.

We would greatly appreciate your input and suggestions on how we can enhance our reporting procedures. We understand that some individuals may be hesitant or afraid to report incidents, and it is our responsibility to remove any barriers that prevent victims from coming forward. We are actively working on implementing the following measures:

1. We will establish a secure and anonymous reporting channel to ensure that individuals can report incidents without fear of retaliation or exposure.

2. Our entire team of trained staff members who will be easily identifiable and available throughout the convention are there for you! They can handle reports of harassment, provide support, and initiate appropriate actions.

3. We will conduct training sessions for all staff, volunteers, and attendees to raise awareness about harassment, consent, and bystander intervention.

By fostering a better understanding of these issues, we aim to create a more respectful and empathetic community.

4. We will review and revise our code of conduct to include comprehensive guidelines on expected behavior, consequences for violations, and the reporting process. These policies will be clearly communicated and easily accessible to all attendees.

ZERO TOLERANCE for harassment of any kind.
Reports will be met with being escorted off the premises. Banned from all future events. Regardless of being a patron/guest/cosplayer/vendor/staff/celebrity

Please remember that cosplay is not consent. Regardless of someone's choice of attire, it does not grant permission for unwelcome advances, harassment, or any form of mistreatment. Respect for personal boundaries and consent should be upheld by everyone.

We stand committed to making FSCC a safe and inclusive space for all attendees. We appreciate your support, understanding, and patience as we work diligently to address this issue and implement the necessary improvements.

Together, we can build a community where everyone feels valued, respected, and protected.

We can't even begin to describe how many incredible moments and amazing cosplayers we encountered. It was a dream come true for any fan of the geeky universe!

📣GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

✨ROMY J. SHARF✨

Romy J. Sharf originated the role of Alpha 5 in The Mighty Morphin‘ Power Rangers. She played Alpha in seasons one and two and starred in the video Alpha’s Magical Christmas. After Romy left the t.v. series, she went on tour with Power Rangers Live and delighted young audiences around the U.S. with more of Alpha 5’s antics.
Romy started her acting career as a theatre arts major at Cal State University Northridge. She has explored many realms of the business including special effects makeup, writing, singing and dance. She honed her Improv skills at The Wildside Theatre and the
L.A. Connection. Romy then switched gears to write and perform sketch comedy at several venues around Los Angeles, CA.
Currently, Romy is enjoying making special appearances with her former Power Ranger co-stars around the country. She says it’s especially fun to meet fans of the show and answer their questions. One of her favorite memories of her Power Ranger days is getting a letter from a young fan addressed to Apple Pie! She still has this letter today.
Romy resides in Southern California with her husband, daughter, two little mice (in a cage, of course) and their adorable and very spoiled rescue dog, Rosie.
