Ten years ago today... so much has changed since then. The preparation that goes into just setting up at an art show can be exhausting. Although social media has made it easier to reach a larger audience, there's no way to replace the one-on-one interaction with customers. It is so gratifying to talk about my process, and hear them tell me how much they enjoy their purchase. Still doing a handful of shows, not out of need but to keep this kind of connection going. After all... "It's about the journey, not the destination."
