We finally have a class list for the year! Starting the week of August 14th BFA offers:
Beginner Ballet: Gavin Patterson
Age: All Cost: $8 weekly Day: Wednesdays 2-3
This weekly class will introduce your student to the fundamentals of classical ballet. We will introduce basic technique, body alignment, introductory movement vocabulary, and musicality. This class will provide opportunities for choreographed performances throughout the year. Students must wear black leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes (Girls), white t-shirt, black tights, and black ballet shoes (Boys).
Praise Dance: Kierra Robertson
Age: All Cost: $5 weekly Day: Tuesdays 3-4
This weekly class will be offered year long. We will start with warm ups and exercise, then spend our remaining time learning the choreography for our current dance. There will be at least two chances for a performance in this year.
Prophetic Dance: Hannah Patterson, Jonathan Patterson
Age: 11+ Cost: $20 one time Day: Friday 10-11am
This nine week course is intended to train dancers to be more aware of the anointing they carry and how to release it. We will spend three weeks studying the prophetic and practicing hearing the voice of God. Over the last six weeks we will put what we've learned into practice with both spontaneous dance and choreography from Jonathan Patterson.
Elementary Arts: Anna Hull
Age: 6-10 Cost: TBA Day: Tuesday 2-3
This class offers a variety of interactive art projects perfect for beginner artists! Class will be held weekly. Dress to make a mess!
Additional supply cost may apply.
Drawing 103: Shane Holman
Age:10+ Cost: $3 weekly Day: Wednesdays 2-3
We will begin exploring creativity as well as enhancing our shading
skills. Students will have more freedom in their subject matter
choices as well as working on major projects. I will be grading on completion of work and effort. New students will have additional
supply costs.

Piano Lessons: Katie Patterson
Age: All
Cost: Beginner $8 weekly/20 min lesson, Intermediate $10 weekly/30 min lesson, Advanced $15 weekly/45 min lesson.
Classes are individual and scheduled between student/parent and teacher. Students will learn piano fundamentals, music, and theory basics. Each student will move at his/her own pace through these precepts in sequential order.
Beginner Guitar Lessons: Dylan Casale
Age: 8+ Cost: $10 weekly/ 30 min lesson
Classes are individual and scheduled between student/parent and teacher. Students will studying basic musicality and rhythm, tablature, and how to read and understand chord charts. Each week students will be sent home with skills to master that they learned in class.
Drama: Hannah Patterson, Katie Patterson, Brooke Hull
Age: All Cost: $35 one time ($1/week!) Day: Wednesdays 3-4:30
This year we will be doing W***y Wonka! Practices will be held weekly from August until our performance in May. (There is a potential for extra practices to be added as we near our performance date.) This is a musical, so any student that auditions must be willing to at least participate in ensemble singing. All students must audition on Wednesday, August 16 from 3-4:30. Performances will be May 4-5 at 7:00.
