Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there💕
And yes… animal moms count too 🤍🐾
This job is more than just taking care of animals — it’s a calling. A purpose. It takes a special kind of person to dedicate their life to caring for creatures that can’t speak for themselves.
Being an animal caretaker means early mornings, late nights, bottle feedings, supplements, special diets, vaccines, cleaning enclosures, learning behaviors, building trust, and never taking shortcuts when it comes to their care. Routines matter. Proper care matters. Love matters.
A lot of these babies know my voice before they even see me. They know my routines, their favorite foods, the spots they love scratched, and they trust me with their lives. Some of them were taught how to eat by me, healed by me, and loved by me from day one.
And the most beautiful part?
We don’t only help them… they help us too.
Animals are therapeutic. They teach patience, comfort, trust, and unconditional love. Watching people connect with them, learn from them, and see the beauty in wildlife the way I do is one of the most rewarding feelings in the world. Educating others and seeing that spark in their eyes reminds me why I do this.
To me, animals give back more love than most people ever could. 🐾
So today I’m celebrating all the moms — especially the ones covered in fur, hay, scratches, animal hair, and endless love.
Happy Mother’s Day from me & my wild babies 🌎🤍
