Neenie’s House

Neenie’s House is an arts and cultural emporium that is dedicated to invigorating the East Palm neighborhood in Fort Myers, FL with music, art, and more. This unique venue is the brainchild of Janeen Vanko, a local entrepreneur with a vision for revitalizing the community. “I want to make the East Palm neighborhood a cool and groovy place to be,” says Vanko.

Neenie’s House opened in late 2018. Since then, Vanko has redone portions of the property, like creating Peace Plaza in the backyard, where art, music, and vendor events are hosted. Every Saturday and Sunday, Neenie’s House hosts an outdoor Mercado featuring locally grown fresh produce, salvage and vintage items, and original art. In addition, Neenie’s House will open the Love Your Rebellion Zine Library in October of 2019, which will feature zines from all over that can be read onsite. Some zines will even be available for purchase.

There will be more to look forward to at Neenie’s House in the coming months. The venue is looking to host art openings, concerts, vendor events, and even the first Love Your Rebellion Zinefest in Fort Myers. Check out www.neenieshouse.com to stay current with events.
