Job Description:
Elegant Studios Event Center in Fort Myers is looking for a skilled and experienced Evening Banquet Manager to join our award-winning team. As the Evening Banquet Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of various events, including weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, holiday parties, and more. This position is part-time and primarily focused on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening events.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all aspects of evening events, ensuring they run smoothly and meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Manage event setup, including arranging tables, decorations, and other event details to create an inviting atmosphere.
Work closely with event planners, vendors, and clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that all requirements are met.
Lead and supervise event staff during the evening events, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
Address and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the events in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events to guarantee the well-being of all attendees.
Assist in event planning and preparation, including organizing event timelines, schedules, and logistics.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and attract potential clients.
Uphold the venue's reputation for elegance and professionalism through exemplary conduct and service.
Requirements:
Previous experience in banquet or event management is essential to excel in this role.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, staff, and vendors.
An easy approachable demeanor with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
Flexibility to work evening hours on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as required by event schedules.
