Americana Community Music Association

Americana Community Music Association We are a 501c3 not for profit organization. . Our goal is to create a community of music lovers and musicians. Get involved and join our community!

Our hope is that by aiding in the growth of the Americana and Roots music in our area the community as a whole will benefit because music benefits all ACMA is committed to supporting original independent music and musicians. Some of the ways we will fulfull our goals will include festivals, music events and listening venues. With every ACMA meeting we move closer to that goal. An ACMA meeting will

include a business meeting as well as a musical "note". The ACMA is a member based, volunteer organization dedicated to supporting live, original music. One of the ways we do that is by creating a Listening Room in our chosen venue. A listening room is an environment created to have the best and most intimate experience that an artist can share with an attentive audience. A space where you go to listen and the audience gets a live music experience to remember. The focus is on original, independent singer/songwriters.

This project was made possible through a generous donation from member Bon Mokadam. Many of you may have seen Klaus working through the technical details — and we’re happy to say we’re now officially up and running.
Video editing is being handled by Michael Boswell, John Craddock, and Bob Williams, making this a true group effort.
You’ll find a link to the new channel on our website at americanacma.org, or you can go directly to YouTube using the link below. We encourage all members to subscribe so you’ll be notified when new videos are posted.
You may also come across our older channel, ACMA Ft Myers FL, which features about 40 videos recorded 8–10 years ago. Unfortunately, we’re not able to combine the two channels, but those videos are still available to enjoy.
Website Note: If you visit the webpage and see a white screen at first, simply scroll down to view the rest of the content. Our webmaster is currently working on resolving that small glitch.
We’re proud of what the video team is doing and excited to share more music with you! CLICK THE LINK ABOVE

We had a great kickoff at The Collaboratory last night! Nice crowd, great energy, and an absolutely beautiful location tucked away on a quiet street — just perfect for a show.
Kevin John Allen, Bruce Gallant, and Bob Patetta entertained us with an amazing assortment of songs and stories — a little something for everybody.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support live original music. We appreciate you!
Our next show is February 3rd with Andy Getch, Ray Cerbone, and John Craddock — hope to see you there.
And coming up this Tuesday, join us at Koreshan State Park for Ralph Leeseberg, Michael Boswell, and Dennis Michael.

We wrapped up the season with a SOLD OUT show under the stars in the Planetarium at the Calusa Nature Center. Doug Shemenski set the tone with a his opening set, and Andy Wahlberg delivered an unforgettable night. What a way to close out the year for those lucky enough to get tickets!
Now we’re kicking off January with eight shows in five locations. The ACMA is growing, and it’s all because of you—thank you for supporting original live music! 🎶💛

It was a debut performance of our own J Michael who opened for the extraordinary musician Joe Crookston last night. During the second set, Joe invited Roy Schneider up to collaborate on a couple of songs. A fantastic night of music, stories and camaraderie! Ithaca, New York is fortunate to have someone like Joe Crookston in the fold.
