We're proud to host the Monarch Diaper Bank twice a week! Families in need of supplies are invited to drop in and pick up a free 5-day supply of diapers and wipes at the admissions desk on Fridays and Sundays between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and then enjoy Pay As You Will admission in the Museum!

Did you know? Children build valuable physical and social skills during everyday play!

Big body play, like climbing on the Climber, happens as children are engaging in active movement which strengthens muscles, improves coordination, and enhances overall physical fitness, but can also give children the chance to practice making a plan, negotiating, and taking risks.

Come learn with us! We're open to the public Wednesday – Sunday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., and with low sensory hours Mondays 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. ☀️🤸

Did you know that Mondays are low sensory days at the Children's Museum at JBLM?

During our open hours from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., ambient noise and light are turned down to provide an even more inviting place to explore, play, and learn for our friends with sensory sensitivities. Weighted vests, noise-canceling headphones, fidget toys, and more are also available for families upon request!

Low Sensory Hours are open to all children experiencing special needs and their families.

Children of all ages learn through play every day!

Big body play, like climbing on the illuminated ramps and whooshing down the slides of the Invention playscape, strengthens muscles, improves coordination, and enhances overall physical fitness, but can also give children the chance to practice making a plan and taking risks safely, as well as bond with their caregiver as they tackle adventures together!

Ready to come learn and play with us? The Children's Museum at JBLM is open for regular hours Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., as well as Low Sensory hours on Mondays from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and for Member-only hours on Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m.
