For more than a decade, our youngest students have taken the first steps of their musical theater performance journey with us at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Through singing, dancing and acting, they’ve built confidence, sparked creativity and discovered the joy of musical theater!

This fall, we’re excited to welcome a new generation with three Saturday morning Intro to Musical Theater classes, specifically designed for children in grades K-5.

Wondering where to go and which acting class to take beyond the foundations? Our Advanced Acting (Level 3) was designed with those questions in mind. This class is for actors who are ready to refine and deepen their skills and focus on in-depth scene study. Students work with material selected from contemporary plays while strengthening their character development, emotional authenticity and performance technique.

⭐Adult Improv (Level 1) is tailored specifically for beginners looking to explore new creative outlets, improve communication skills or just have fun. Taught by a professional theater and improv instructor, Emma Garcia Seeger.

⭐Adult Improv Advanced (Level 3) is designed to push your improv skills to new heights. This advanced level class is perfect for improvisors looking to build on their foundational knowledge and explore more advanced techniques. This class requires previous experience and instructor approval. Taught by writer, director and four-time recipient of the prestigious Carbonell Award, Elena Maria Garcia.
