Join Save Dade in the Fight For Marriage Equality!
The SAVE and SAVE Foundation Champions of Equality Awards Reception and Silent Auction is scheduled for Friday, May 9, 2014. This year we will honor State Representative David Richardson, County Commissioner Audrey Edmonson, and local filmmaker Joe Cardona for their proactive support of LGBT equality in our community.
In addition, this year we will induct into our Hall of Champions the eight couples represented in the recently-announced marriage recognition lawsuit filed jointly between SAVE and the American Civil Liberties Union challenging the state of Florida’s statutory refusal to honor same-sex marriages performed in states with marriage equality.
