We both portray merchant caravan's participating in local fairs within the period of the 1100's through the 1500's. Our stage is the unique diversity of the merchant caravan; this allows our members to create and develop characters from almost anywhere
in the world. The merchant caravan was a cacophony of many different cultures brought together for the sake of safety and companionship while traveling the trade routes throughout the renaissance world. Members of such caravans might have included merchants, performers, minstrels, acrobats, scholars, and stage actors. The caravan would also consist of many support personnel such as mercenaries for protection, hunters to provide food, serving wenches, smiths of various vocations, weavers, brewers, shoemakers, and livestock handlers. Because of this ,within the Hanseatic League you might encounter exotic things (for the time period) such as: American Indians, Middle Eastern belly dancers, African Drummers, or Chinese silk weavers.
