Dillard Center for the Arts proudly invites you to our upcoming music performance of "ÉCOUTE: A Small & Large Ensemble Concert." This special evening will feature performances by our Wind Band, Orchestra, and Gospel Choir, showcasing the incredible talent and dedication of our student musicians.

“ÉCOUTE,” which means “listen” in French, is a celebration of musical expression, collaboration, and artistry across our large and small ensembles. We encourage you to come and experience the power and beauty of live performance as our scholars share their hard work and passion for music.

Come join us as we journey through history. An American Blues story with a riveting experience for the community to learn and celebrate the trials and triumphs of America's journey to freedom.

Watch, listen, and learn as the sounds of Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald underscore the African American pursuit of liberty and justice. From the early movements of history all the way to BLM, we dance, tap, and swing our way through history highlighting some familiar stories with poetry and the blues. This American Blues story is a show for everyone by everyone.
