The Vanguard is a brand new performing arts venue that will be opening in downtown Fort Lauderdale in March 2015. Located just one block south of TAP 42, The Vanguard will be an exciting and inspiring home for artists and art lovers. As our tagline indicates, this space will be 'a sanctuary for the arts.' The Vanguard will be the resident venue for Fort Lauderdale's Thinking Cap Theatre, a local

theatre company that specializes in thought provoking and experimental work (http://thinkigcaptheatre.com). The Vanguard will also feature the work of other local and distant theatre companies, bands, comedians, visual artists, dancers, jugglers, film artists, you name it!
