Underneath the California sun, the Odyssa Pier promises thrills, chills and cheese fries! When a group of young people gather at the pier to ride the Seaside Screamer, the biggest coaster on the boardwalk, the get more of a ride than they bargained for. As reality collides with a world of not-so-magical creatures who are determined to get their powers back, everyone must work together to find a way home again in “The Gateway Island: A Musical Adventure”.

Have you ever wanted to write your own musical? Now is your chance to bring a new musical to life — and only 7 spots are available.

Two weeks in Sitges, Spain. Write, compose, and perform a brand-new musical, from the first idea to a live staged reading. Guided by Broadway composer Chris Miller and Lovewell Artistic Director Carrie Gilchrist, in partnership with Institute of the Arts Barcelona.

For performers, writers, and anyone curious how a new musical is made. Ages 18+. Conducted in English.
