On a flight back to Miami, carrying two emotions in one heart.

On one hand, we marked a painful one-year anniversary — the tragic loss of an extraordinary young man, my nephew, Nachum, taken far too soon.
On the other, we celebrated him the most eternal way possible — surrounded by family and his remarkable friends, by inscribing a Sefer Torah that will carry his name for generations to come.

Grief and beauty intertwined. Loss transformed into legacy.

All of this was brought together with love, vision, and soul by my dear niece a truly gifted artist in every sense. I am endlessly proud of her.

Three years ago I came across a square block of land in Wilton Manors that most people had already passed on because of the zoning challenges. Instead of walking away, I took a 60-day due diligence period to really understand what could be done.

A lot of planning, patience, and problem-solving later… we’re now getting ready to break ground next month on 16 townhomes and 5,000 sq. ft. of commercial space, with an LOI from a national medspa chain.

Lesson learned: real opportunity often sits in the places everyone overlooks.
