Leaving all my plant babies for a week! ✈️🌱

Miss them already 🥺 this is the first time on a flight since March 2020 😵 I’ve never left my plants for this long!!

It’s almost august and it’s hot af in south Florida, I have a ton of work to do in the yard that I’m just not going to do. 😂 it’s brutal 🥵🥵

Good morning! 🌞 I’m obsessed with this beautiful new planter from !

This planter is the perfect size for my net pots to fit into, which is sick because I don’t have to use a saucer underneath to catch water and my roots will still get lots of airflow! (Also- they won’t stick to the planter because of the net pot!) 💖

🌱Have you used Noot - Organic Plant Care] ?! 🤠

I’m SUPER pumped to try out the new soil-less mix!! I’ve been stepping away from sphagnum moss, as we know- it’s not a sustainable option for substrate. 🌱 also causes hella root rot so switching to a chunky mix has been perfect for me, I’ll let you know what i think!
I have to repot a couple plants from soon, so i will be posting a video showing how i use it! 💖

I’ve used the Noot - Organic Plant Care] plant food for a while and I’m obsessed 💓 10/10 would recommend!

Plant chores < disassociating, staring at leaves 🧐

🌱 I repotted every single anthurium in my collection over the last 2 weeks with fresh substrate because I was having water retention issues. Everyone is much happier now and putting out new leaves!

Proven method : f**k around & find out. 👏🏼

I started this account in 2016, as a plant hobby account called recyclegarden. I knew a little bit about plants just from growing up in South Florida and studying herbalism/ native flora, but I had no clue how to care for them. 🤸🏽‍♀️ I had no focus and I was trying to grow literally everything under the sun.

I have killed so SO many plants. 😂☠️🪦

But that is totally okay! 😅 mistakes were made, lessons were learned and now I kill.. less plants. (Sometimes the plant just sucks idk! 🤷‍♀️)

You don’t need to immediately be amazing at your hobby! It’s a learning process that is never ending. 💓
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT YOU LOVE WHAT YOU ARE DOING!

If you’re going to grow plants, you’re going to kill some plants. 👏🏼

🌱 pro tip : buy multiples of the same plant in case there’s a casualty. 😁
