🎤 Live at the Cinema – A Special Fundraiser Concert! 🎭

Join us on May 16th from 3:00–4:30 PM for an inspiring afternoon of music and talent as 14-year-old Troy Celik takes the stage for a heartfelt fundraising concert!

Troy is raising money to attend a Musical Theater Vocal Camp in Manhattan (July 7–12)—an incredible opportunity that will culminate in a cabaret performance at The Green Room 42, a Broadway stage venue.

Despite his young age, Troy has already built an impressive resume:
✨ Performed in 25 plays
✨ Written and directed 2 original productions (University of Maine at Presque Isle, 2025)
✨ Active in multiple theater groups across Aroostook County
✨ Founder of his own singing business, performing across the region
✨ Recent performances at weddings, anniversaries, and local venues—including right here at the cinema!

🎶 What to expect:
Troy will perform his signature mix of Frank Sinatra & Friends, Broadway favorites, and even a touch of the blues.

🌟 Special guest appearances by:
Samantha Chasse, Cheyo Flores, and more!

💡 Why it matters:
This opportunity will give Troy hands-on experience in the Broadway world, help him build connections, and continue developing his already remarkable talent.

🎯 Fundraising Goal: $7,000
Already raised: $2,600 (through performances, scholarships, donations, and hard work!)

Every ticket, every share, and every bit of support helps bring Troy closer to the Broadway lights.

Come out, enjoy a great show, and support a young local performer chasing a big dream. 🌟

I almost canceled Michael last minute after reading a bunch of the reviews. I am very happy I did not. It is a good film and if you remember the Joker sequel, you know I’m not afraid to call a film bad if I think it’s bad. The story in this one does fall a little flat, but the cinematography and music makes up for that. This is one that is worth seeing on the big screen, surrounded by the music, the acting is great. The fella that plays Michael is amazing and completely embodies Michael. I loved it and the worst part about it is that I have now been singing Michael Jackson songs for two days straight.

👀 We’re having a little extra fun this week with Classic movies…

Take a trip back to 1936 with the unintentionally hilarious Re**er Madness the film that tried (and failed spectacularly) to scare a generation straight.

🎬 Tuesday 4/21 at 6:30 PM
We’re keeping the classics rolling with The Strange Love of Martha Ivers a dark, twisty noir packed with secrets, ambition, and a young Kirk Douglas making his film debut.

Two nights, two very different kinds of “what were they thinking?” energy.

See you at the movies 🍿

🚨 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

This Monday, April 20th at 4:20 PM, we invite you to attend a very serious and deeply concerning educational screening.

Long before modern science, reason, or… perspective… there was a film brave enough to expose the absolute chaos unleashed by a single puff of ma*****na. That film is Re**er Madness (1936).

Witness, if you dare, the shocking descent into hysteria, questionable piano playing, and what can only be described as extremely dramatic life choices. This is not entertainment — this is a warning.

We urge all responsible citizens to attend, observe, and perhaps reflect on just how close society came to total collapse.

🎬 Re**er Madness (1936)
📅 Monday, 4/20
⏰ 4:20 PM
🎟️ Admission: $4.20

Stay informed. Stay vigilant. Stay… dramatically concerned.
