The Brick Garden- Sit under the huge Oak trees and listen to the worlds second largest wind chimes. The trees provide perfect shade for the greenhouse plant starts to get fresh air and rain. The Serenity Garden ~ A soft waterfall of native Oklahoma sandstone rocks trickle under the Willow tree. A perfect spot for watching the
wildlife play. The Red Hat Lady in the Garden oversees it all and makes
sure all is well. She is accompanied by the Tin Man and the family of flowerpot people. Native rock animals peek out from the Azalea bushes, succulents, Zinnias, Marigold and assorted perennials and annual plants. Several wind spinners move gracefully in the breeze. The Fairies and Gnomes live there in abundance. The Gazebo is very welcoming with oversized chairs, pillows and stained glass art work. A tulip tree provides shade and the butterflies love the crepe myrtle plants. The Front Porch ~ White wicker furniture and planters of Boston Ferns adorn the porch with an antique wash basin sink that perpetually runs cold water. The frogs and tadpoles live there. The big white wicker porch swing is the perfect place to solve all your problems. It is home to large Aloe Vera plants, many assorted large Ficus and house plants. Hydrangea, marigolds and Oxalis line the front border. The Glass Totem Pole Garden ~ The Elephant Ear plants and glass art Totem poles sway in the breeze. It is full of Violets and Oxalis plants. Made from huge rectangle stones from an old Oklahoma school house. The Flamingo Deck ~ The many flamingos show off their splendid different colors and painted designs. They share their living space with many years of collected sea shells. We watch the wildlife nibble on their corn cobs in the ‘snack bar’ area under the oak trees. The Koi Pond Garden ~ Home to a huge double green bottle tree. Peony bushes, Orange Day Lilies, Marigolds, Zinnias, Naked Ladies and sometimes an occasional snake. The waterfall is visible from the Flamingo deck. The 180 foot Iris bed has many metal art woodland creatures. A secondary Iris bed, by the large fishing pond is getting established. The Punk Junk Garden ~ Here you will find many creatures, animals and wildlife made from rusty metal collected from old barns, sheds and
storage buildings. Bottle trees stand tall under the Oak trees and bottles grow as borders to the Iris, Oxalis and blooming Sedum. It is terraced with Oklahoma rock flagstone and has a swing overlooking the large fishing pond. The Automotive Garden ~ Made from old car wheels, this water feature is home to Petunia Plants, vintage license plates and a vintage parking meter. Many assorted house plants love the bright sun and humidity there. The old fashioned tree swing is a favorite of mine. Large and oversized, with garland intwined in the chains, holding it from a huge oak tree.
