Today I played for a seniors event. My baby bump is now so big that the harp rested against it. I think David had certain songs he preferred and ones he didn't, because sometimes he would push right on the spot where the harp was resting and move the harp! Can't wait to meet him in just a few weeks!

Today's wedding was supposed to be outside, but a sudden mid-day drop of 2 inches of snow moved it indoors. The flower girl from Florida had never seen snow! Between struggling to bend down to buckle and unbuckle the base cover on my harp case and barely squeezing into an acceptable gig dress, I'm thinking it may be time to pause gigs till post baby. It will give me time to play privately for Baby David 😊

Well, here I go playing for an outdoor wedding in Colorado in winter. It's an unseasonably warm day with a high of 42. The bride is sad there isn't snow so they got a snow machine. Thankful for my carbon fiber lever harp. Wish my cold fingers luck!
