The Larimer Chorale’s 2025–2026 season comes to a spectacular close with French Connection, an unforgettable afternoon of sweeping orchestral sound, soaring voices, and timeless music inspired by the beauty and brilliance of French artistry.
On Sunday, May 17 at 4:00 PM in CSU’s Griffin Concert Hall, more than 110 singers and a 47-piece orchestra will come together for a vibrant and emotionally rich concert experience.
The centerpiece of the program is Francis Poulenc’s dazzling Gloria, a powerful and jubilant work for choir, orchestra, and soprano soloist featuring Hallie Schmidt. Bursting with rhythmic energy, lyrical beauty, and moments of profound reverence, the Gloria is one of the great choral-orchestral works of the 20th century.

- Sunday (Sunday in the Park with George) by Stephen Sondheim

- Pavane (for a Dead Princess) by Maurice Ravel
- Chacun le sait (La Fille du Régiment) by Gaetano Donizetti
- One Day More (Les Miserables) by Schönberg, Boublil, Natel and Kretzmer
