Few musical theater numbers are as thrilling or iconic as “One Day More” from Les Misérables.

Written by Claude-Michel Schönberg with lyrics by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel, this powerhouse ensemble number closes Act I of the beloved musical and brings together nearly every major character in a breathtaking collision of hopes, fears, love, sacrifice, and revolution.

Set on the eve of the June Rebellion in 1832 Paris, each character sings of what tomorrow may bring, whether it be freedom, heartbreak, battle, or redemption. Individually, their melodies tell deeply personal stories. Together, they create one of the most exhilarating moments in all of musical theater.

At French Connection, our combined chorus and full orchestra will bring this electrifying anthem to life in all its dramatic grandeur. Prepare for goosebumps!

One of the things that makes French Connection truly special? The SOUND. 🎶

For this concert, the Larimer Chorale will be joined by a stunning 47-piece orchestra, creating a rich, powerful, fully immersive symphonic and choral experience right here in Northern Colorado.

From the soaring beauty of Poulenc’s Gloria to the lush colors and dramatic textures throughout the program, this is music meant to be experienced live, with the full force of chorus and orchestra together on stage.

Professional symphony + chorus performances can often cost far more in larger cities, but we’re proud to bring this caliber of performance to our community for tickets at just $35.

If you love breathtaking orchestral music, powerful choral singing, and the magic of live performance, French Connection on May 17th is a concert you won’t want to miss!
