Guitarist and singer-songwriter, Daniel Ondaro has extensive experience performing both original and cover material throughout the US, Mexico and Europe in support of his fourth solo album “Under The Gun.”
Daniel's shows include a wide range of styles such as Country, Folk, Americana and Brazilian music influenced by decades of travel and performing onsite in countries worldwide as well as on cru
ise ships. A native of Colorado, USA, since 2008, Daniel has collaborated with nationally recognized artists and groups. From 2011 to 2013 Daniel was a front man for the original Pop/Latin group NuMundo, performing at festivals in Colorado and Singapore as well as leading a fully funded Kickstarter campaign for their debut LP, “Our Song” produced and recorded in Denver, Colorado. In 2013 he released his debut solo EP, “Ao Brasil.” From 2013 to 2016 Daniel lived in Berlin, Germany, where he led the musical group "The Shy Birds" performing throughout Europe. During this time in 2014 he released his band's self-titled LP, "The Shy Birds," in 2015 his solo LP “Summer Days” and in 2016 his solo EP, "Rise." In 2016 Daniel began working as a featured performer on cruise ships, often performing 7 nights a week, in locations worldwide, ending with the pandemic. Daniel has taught beginning to advanced guitar students at the Colorado University Boulder including private and group lessons, since 2007. In 2008 he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Musicology and World Music from CU Boulder where he studied a wide variety of vocal and guitar styles including Classical and Brazilian. Daniel is currently active as a guitar teacher, recording artist, and touring musician throughout Europe, Latin America and the United States. His instruments of choice are C.F. Morrison and Taylor guitars.
