Somewhere between the long drives, risky meals that made no sense at the time, and convincing ourselves we still have knees like we’re 12… you forget you’re supposed to be “working” and remember why you started in the first place.

This trip to the Carolinas wasn’t just about tattoos—it was about hitting pause for a second. Laughing too hard, acting like kids, and realizing that when you’re traveling with someone who just *gets it*, everything feels lighter. The world slows down a bit, and the little moments start to matter more.

Connor, you’re one of those rare ones, man. An artist I respect, but more than that—a friend I genuinely enjoy doing life with. Thanks for keeping it real, keeping it fun, and reminding me not to take it all so seriously.

Where are we jumping next? 👀

There’s a certain kind of silence in the swamp… the kind that watches back.

This piece was my Best of Show entry at the All American Tattoo Convention—built over two long, locked-in days with my client Dennis. We wanted something deeper than just a fox… **an homage to his home**, Marion, South Carolina. The legacy of Francis Marion—the “Swamp Fox.” Quiet, strategic, untouchable.

I leaned into that energy—low light, heavy atmosphere, fireflies cutting through the dark, life moving in the stillness. The kind of environment where everything feels alive, but nothing rushes. That tension is what makes the fox feel like it belongs here… not just placed, but emerging from it.

This is what I love about large-scale work. When you give a concept the space it deserves, it stops being a tattoo and starts becoming a world you can step into.

Huge thank you to for the booth, for the constant support and incredible products, , and my brother + for being the best booth mate and friend I could ask for.

Four sessions. One continuous flow.

This thigh piece was built patiently — layer by layer, sitting by sitting — letting it evolve instead of forcing it. That’s the nature of large-scale work… you don’t rush it, you refine it.

I really leaned into the Art Nouveau influence on this one — the flowing framework, the ornamental structure wrapping the form, everything designed to guide the eye and hold the piece together as it moves with the body. It creates that balance between structure and softness.

Then bringing in that ethereal glow — subtle, controlled, almost breathing through the skin — so the piece doesn’t just sit there… it feels alive.

Huge respect to my client for trusting the full process and showing up for all four sessions. That’s how pieces like this reach their full potential.

And of course, locking it all in with Proper Tattoo maintenance & aftercare to make sure it heals just as clean as it went in.

If you’re thinking about committing to something on this level, I’m here for it.

Most people think tattoos are about endurance.
The best ones feel more like meditation.

This piece became that space — slow, intentional, locked in. Every pass, every transition, every moment of stillness building something bigger than just an image. That’s the difference with large-scale work… it’s not rushed, it’s not forced. It’s a process you settle into.

When you commit to a full service experience, you’re not just getting a tattoo — you’re stepping into a rhythm. Preparation, focus, flow, recovery… all working together so the final piece hits at the highest level possible.

That’s where the caliber changes.
Not just in how it looks — but in how it’s built, how it heals, and how it lives on your body long term.

Huge thank you to my client for trusting that process and showing up fully for it.

And as always, locking in the final stage with Proper Tattoo maintenance & aftercare — because how it heals is just as important as how it goes in.

If you’re ready for something deeper than just a session… let’s build it right.

There’s something different about tattooing at a convention… the energy hits deeper.

A little over three days locked in on this Mother Earth piece—her core burning, alive at the center—and it honestly felt like that same energy carried both of us through every hour.

Those sessions where you stop thinking about time and just exist in the work… this was one of them.

in Carlsbad, NM—you were something special. The kind of weekend that reminds me exactly why I fell in love with this craft in the first place.

And most importantly – the .proteam … I don’t say this lightly—being around that group felt like family. Real integrity, real support, real artistry. Grateful to be surrounded by people who push the standard and actually live it.

Huge thank you to my client for trusting me and sitting like an absolute warrior all weekend. Pieces like this aren’t just tattoos—they’re shared experiences.
This one meant something. The power in this universe truly does align people together.

If you could wear a piece of the earth on you… what would it look like? 🌍🔥

Some weekends remind you exactly why you fell in love with tattooing in the first place.

This weekend at Inkers Tattoo Expo in Carlsbad was one of those moments.
A few long days of doing what I love most — creating, connecting, and getting completely lost in the process. There’s something special about tattooing in a room full of artists all pushing each other to be better.
Huge thank you to for putting together such an incredible event and to the sponsors who support artists and make weekends like this possible.
And a massive shoutout to the .proteam
I’ve done a lot of conventions over the years, but I’ve never experienced one quite like this. There’s something about this group that just feels like pure magic.
Grateful to be part of it.
Full reveal of the piece coming soon.

🔥 You shall not pass. 🔥

A Balrog forged in fire, shadow, and obsession with detail.

This piece was all about contrast—molten light tearing through darkness, heat radiating off the skin, and movement that feels alive.

Fantasy tattoos like this are why I do what I do.

As this year wraps up, I’m sitting with a lot of gratitude.

For the tattoos, the stories, the trust people place in my hands.

For the late nights, early mornings, and everything in between.

This year held big change.
We packed up our lives and moved to North Carolina.
New studio. New roots. New chapter.

I watched my kids learn how to ride their bikes—
scraped knees, fearless smiles, full send energy.
Those moments hit harder than any highlight reel ever could.

There was a ton of traveling.
Miles on the road, airports, guest spots, new faces, old friends.

Some highs. Some real lows. Growth that wasn’t always comfortable—but always necessary.

Tattooing continues to be more than a job for me.
It’s storytelling. It’s connection. It’s showing up fully—
even when life is heavy, even when things feel uncertain.
This year wasn’t perfect.
But it was real.
And I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Here’s to growth, family, art, and whatever the next chapter brings.

Thank you to everyone who was part of the journey 🤍

What was your biggest win this year?

Carry the weight… or chase the sun?

In this piece, my client is Icarus—not reckless, but driven by curiosity, passion, and the refusal to live halfway. Made of wax, melting beneath a mask, he represents choosing to fully live, even when the risk is real. He’d rather fly too close to the sun than not at all.

His father is Atlas—strength, endurance, and the quiet weight of family and work carried without complaint. That’s why Atlas holds the world inside his own head, symbolizing the internal burdens he’s carried for the people he loves.
Two lives. Two paths. One story.

Holding the world… while still daring to reach for the sky.

👇
Comment “Atlas” or “Icarus” — which one are you?

This tattoo is fully healed!
